His prior works really showed the flair and talent that we were wanting and, with Marcels help, we located a slab of Bastogne Walnut that was 10+ feet long by 42+ inches wide with strong color and grain variation. Marcel's knowledge and experience then crafted this raw slab into an amazing piece of heirloom furniture. He worked with us to decide on cut locations, edge trimming and table base dimensions. He even took the cut-off and crafted a matching game table, which also acts as a dining table extension during the holidays. "We've been searching the area for a live-edge table over the past year. It was great to find Marcel and the Tahoe Table Company located right here in Reno. Marcel walked us through the process and provided multiple options for the table which included different types of wood and once we chose our slab had it shipped here. Once in Reno it sat for several weeks to allow it to acclimate to the dry Reno weather. Once acclimated the real fun began! We were able to visit Marcel's shop and custom-cut the wood slab to fit our kitchen dimensions to a tee. As the slab was being cut, sanded, and loved upon; we picked out our custom legs for the final piece of the puzzle/art. This truly is a piece of art! Every time we look at it, we notice a different design, mark, piece of history of the tree. It is truly amazing and beautiful. We highly recommend the Tahoe Table Company!”

Where to begin?!? Marcel is an amazing craftsman! Early last year we started working with him on a major kitchen renovation. He worked very closely with us from the design stage all the way through fully executing the kitchen of our DREAMS, including a making a custom build dining table and barn door for a beautiful pantry he built us in our space.
